Unique Tesla charging cable.
Most used in France.
With an integrated Tesla command button.
Made from high quality European cable.

Features
  • Integrated Tesla command button for easy charge port access.
  • Capable to charge at 16A or 32A, single or 3-phase
  • High quality European cable, which is 20% lighter and thinner while being more durable.
Description
This cable can be used for all cars having a Type 2 connector on the vehicle side and need a Type 3C connector on the infrastructure side, as is mostly the case in France. For the rest of Europe, you would need a type 2 - type 2 cable, sold elsewhere in the shop.

In France, many charging points use the EV Aliiance Type 3C socket for EV Charging. The reason France adheres to this plug is because a law in France stipulates that every publicly available electric socket should have a physical cover so people can not be electrocuted by touching the contacts.

This charging cable has the Tesla Chargeport functionality, a seamlessly integrated waterproof button on the vehicle-side Type 2 connector, allowing you to open the chargeport, start and stop charging your Tesla or unlock the cable, without the need to enter the car first, or look for the keyfob.

The cable release of course only works when the car's keyfob is around. The charging cable will not unlock when the car's keyfob is not in the vicinity (same as at the superchargers).
